No, at Nordic Online Academy we have chosen not to conclude our educations with a traditional exam. Instead, we use ongoing assessment through Multiple Choice Tests after each module.

These tests are designed to strengthen your learning along the way and give you the opportunity to reflect on the content as you progress through the education. The tests are not just a form of evaluation – they are a tool to ensure that you understand and can apply what you learn. This way, you can work at your own pace and gain a deeper benefit from the instruction.

Once you have completed and passed all the modules, you will receive your certificate, which documents your newly acquired skills.

The photography education assumes that participants have a digital single-lens reflex camera (DSLR) or equivalent available, as this will provide the best learning experience. The education covers the principles and techniques of photography at a very basic level, so there are no formal requirements regarding the participants’ experience or equipment.

Yes, once you have completed the photography education, you will receive your personal certificate. The certificate serves as proof of your acquired skills and knowledge.

You can use the certificate, among other things, when applying for jobs or as evidence of your knowledge and competencies if you wish to start working as a freelance photographer.

With this education, you gain all the necessary skills to work as a photographer. Once graduated, you have the opportunity to start your own concept as a freelance photographer for both private clients and businesses. At the same time, you can seek employment opportunities, either with other photographers or, as we often see, with companies where graduates work with photography and/or other marketing-related tasks.

When you enroll in the photography education, you will generally have access to the education materials for a full 2 years. This period ensures that you have plenty of time to learn at your own pace, and you can easily return to the materials whenever you need to. Whether you want to refresh your knowledge or dive deeper into specific topics, you have the flexibility and time to do so.

In addition, you also have the option to download tools from the education, allowing you to use them during the program and even after you have completed it, providing long-term value.

If it turns out during your studies that you need extra time, don’t worry – in such cases, we can extend your access for a limited period at no additional cost.

Yes, absolutely. At Nordic Online Academy, it is important for us to support you and ensure that you move forward successfully in your career within the field.

As you approach the end of your studies, our learning platform gives you the opportunity to book career guidance tailored to your specific situation and future goals. During career guidance, we typically focus on how you can gain practical experience as a natural next step after completing your education. This could, for example, be through employment (including activation of our network within the field and experience from other students) or guidance on starting your own business.

Typically, the education fee is paid directly upon enrollment using a payment card. We do, however, offer a range of flexible installment options:

1. One-time payment (card or PayPal):
   Pay the full amount with a payment card upon enrollment to gain instant access to the education material and start your studies right away. You can also pay the full amount through PayPal upon enrollment. This option likewise gives you immediate access to the education material.

2. One-time payment (invoice):
   With this option, we will issue an invoice and send it to you. Payment must then be completed through an international bank transfer, since we are based in Denmark. Please note that due to the additional manual processing, this method may take a bit longer than the other payment options.

3. Installments (directly to Nordic Online Academy):
   Pay 40% of the total amount with a payment card upon enrollment to gain instant access to the education material. Pay the remaining balance in four installments of 15% each, spaced 30 days apart.
   Please note that a 5% administration fee is added to the total education fee.

The photography education at Nordic Online Academy costs EUR 1.500, and that’s it. The price includes our proprietary teaching materials for all sections of the education, as well as all other learning resources throughout the program. Additionally, there are recommendations for suggested equipment that can definitely enhance your learning and the outcomes of the education, but there is no requirement to have any specific equipment.

Compared to in-person photography educations, our price is extremely competitive. This is due to our online format, which eliminates costs for classrooms and other physical facilities. Our focus is on providing a high-quality education that is accessible to everyone – and at an affordable price.
