Rikke Malling, founder of Malling Living Studio, has extensive and successful experience in the world of interior design. Her journey began in the restaurant industry, where she established the restaurants Malling & Schmidt and Nordisk Spisehus together with her husband, Thorsten Schmidt.
With her background as a waitress and restaurant owner, Rikke has a unique perspective on interior design, where aesthetics and functionality are combined in a unique way. This experience led to the founding of Malling Living Studio in 2013, where Rikke and her team turn small and large interior design dreams into reality.
Rikke is not only a visionary designer, but also a dedicated teacher who shares her extensive knowledge and experience with students at the Nordic Online Academy. Based in Aarhus, Malling Living Studio covers a wide range of interior design and design projects for both private and commercial clients. Her unique background in the restaurant industry has made her company a sought-after supplier of interior design for hotels and restaurants in Denmark and abroad.
Rikke’s passion for interior design goes hand in hand with her interest in people and their stories.
