Lotte Dalgaard

Expert in book writing
  • Trained journalist
  • Screenwriter
  • Book writer with more than 10 book publications

Lotte Dalgaard graduated as a journalist from the Danish School of Journalism in 1994. Since then, she has worked freelance for television, newspapers and magazines, as well as teaching radio journalism at Medieskolen Lyngby. She has also completed a screenwriting course at the Short Film and Documentary Film School.

Her first book was published in 2014, and since then she has published crime novels, true crime, memoirs, interview books and, so far, two romance novels. She is passionate about sharing her experiences of writing good stories and helping aspiring writers on their way.

Lotte is the head of education for the book writer education at Nordic Online Academy, where she equips students with both theoretical tools and practical exercises. Lotte’s goal is to equip fiction writers to build a story with all the important ingredients it should contain. And to create interesting and memorable characters, as well as provide insight into the publication of the book.

Value-driven counseling

At Nordic Online Academy, we place great emphasis on ensuring that our student guidance is available to you before, during, and after your studies.

On our program pages, we have done our best to include all relevant information about each course. You can also register directly on these pages.

Still, we would very much like to talk with you before you sign up for one of our programs. We believe that an initial dialogue helps strengthen the decision-making process and ensures clear expectations. So please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Examples of questions and discussions before enrolling in a program:

  • Estimated study time

  • Desired outcome of the program (goals & plan)
